our commitment

At VILLANA, we are committed to sustainable fashion and value quality and ethics in every step of the production of our garments, ensuring that the factories we work with have a responsible supply chain.

Work ethics

We work with factories that comply with seven fundamental pillars:

  1. Prohibition of child labor
  2. Nondiscrimination
  3. Prohibition of forced and compulsory labor
  4. Freedom of association
  5. Fair working hours
  6. Adequate remuneration
  7. Safety at work

Sustainable materials

All our collections are made with environmentally friendly materials. We use GOTS certified organic cotton, GRS certified recycled cotton, GRS certified recycled polyester and GRS certified recycled nylon.

Durability

We manufacture high-quality products that stand the test of time, thus reducing the need for frequent replacements.

We are looking for an alternative to fast fashion and we are committed to slow fashion with a more thoughtful and conscious purchase

Our contribution

At VILLANA we do everything possible to collaborate and contribute our grain of sand to the creation of a more sustainable world. For this reason, we minimize the use of plastic in our workshop and create cardboard labels and paper stickers, both recycled.

Additionally, we are working to ensure that our shipping bags are made entirely, or mostly, of recycled materials.

We know that we still have a long way to go but we also know that we are going in the right direction.

At VILLANA, we want to do more and are looking for new ways to increase our sustainability.

One of the main objectives that we set ourselves as a brand right now is the use of new and innovative ecological fabrics and materials that we can use in the design and manufacture of our garments.

We are investigating how to recycle plastics and other waste from the sea to take advantage of and reuse them in the manufacture of our garments.
